Lady A’s family led team believe strongly that CBD education is key to understanding in the UK; something we share here at Origin’40. Although CBD has been a buzz word for several years now, its advocates, and the legions of brands popping up around it, never quite seem to capture the essence of the marvellous hemp plant.
This lack of inspiration was precisely what motivated Alexandra to begin Lady A.

Lady A uses premium CBD hemp extract, natural botanical extracts and essential oils, with CBD that is grown and harvested in Colorado and then made in the UK. Together with Lady A’s team of scientists, cannabinoid researchers and CBD experts, Lady A has created a carefully tailored range to bring the natural goodness of CBD into everyday lives, in a way that is simple, stylish and effortless. Lady A CBD consists of 15 cannabinoids and 20 terpenes in their oils compared to the usual board spectrum oils with around 4 or 5 other cannabinoids, and no terpenes were detected. Lady A has really quickly become one of our best selling ranges. We really like that the CBD tinctures are separated by time of day (morning CBD, Evening CBD, and Anytime CBD), which really helps customers understand the best mix to get depending on what they need.
CBD vaping in particular has a lot of stigma attached to it, so it was fantastic when we started stocking the Lady A CBD Vape pens at Origin’40. They are elegant and beautiful, and again really clearly show customers what benefit they can get, such as Unwind.
